You guys are probably wondering, where's the sea and sand in these photos; after all "summer" is the peg for this post right? Well to tell you the truth, this isn't what I have in mind for my summer 2012 as well. It truly sucks to be where I am right now and not be anywhere near sea water. But then again, I still have to try and make the most out of my summer even though my schedule won't allow me to (boohoo!). But the absence of sand on my toes, and sea on my skin during these season doesn't mean I cannot enjoy summer at all. So here are some clever tips that I have came up with to enjoy summer without all the hassle and travel chaos! Believe me! There are so many ways to enjoy the sun this season.
1. PLAY DRESS UP!
Since I like dressing up and that's the only thing I am probably good at, then why not have fun dressing up with your cute summer outfits and be an envy of everyone else with your summer inspired ensembles. Don't forget that a boost of color is key to achieve your summer look.
2. BACKYARD GRILL
Go and invite your friends and try to host a barbeque party at your backyard and jam with your barkada's favorite reggae party tune.
3. BLENDER UP!
What's a backyard party without drinks right? Go grab a bucket of ice, and a basket full of different yummy fruits that you and your friends love and try to mix and create thirst quenching drinks with them. Who knows? It might be the most refreshing summer drink ever! A barkada favorite and signature thirst quencher every summer.
4. WATER WORLD
Turn on your grass sprinkler at your backyard, fill up your water guns and prepare for a fun afternoon battle together with your siblings, cousins and even friends.
You guys like that? Then add these fun activities to your planner and better hurry up before summer 2012 ends!
P.S still working on the 5th awesome-non-beach-summer-activity. LOL
